Gundam 40 years anniversary exhibit at Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan
Mobile Suit Gundam celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and fans of the popular anime series can enjoy an exhibit held at JR Hakata City from 13th – 31th March.
First broadcast started in 1979, the Mobile Suit Gundam Series spans decades of works from TV, anime, manga, and movies. Gundam even predates the Transformers by several years! Although not as popular as the latter, Gundam still has legion of fans especially in Japan and Asia.
Gundam World at JR Hakata City is an exhibit where fans can enjoy 3D exhibit, models, movies, and latest Gundam works.
JR Hakata City is located right above the JR Hakata station. Easily accessible from the nearby international airport, as well as Shinkansen if you are travelling from other parts of Japan.
Do not miss this if you are in Kyushu and love the Gundam robot!
