The Berlin Bear is a city symbol and mascot, appearing on the Berlin Crest since the 13 century. There is a long history of bears and Berlin, with some saying the city sounds like Bearlin.

Today, there is a huge number of these bear all around Berlin, with their hands in the air and adorned in colourful patterns. These 2 metres tall bear started as an art project in 2001 and had since populated much of Berlin as well as other nearby towns.

During our trip in Berlin, these beautiful Bear mascots present instag photo opportunities. Posing with them for some photos.
