Berlin Bear
The Berlin Bear is a city symbol and mascot, appearing on the Berlin Crest since the 13 century. There is a long history of bears and Berlin, with some saying the city sounds like Bearlin.
Today, there is a huge number of these bear all around Berlin, with their hands in the air and adorned in colourful patterns. These 2 metres tall bear started as an art project in 2001 and had since populated much of Berlin as well as other nearby towns.
